HOPKINS, Minn. — EDCO Products has announced the promotion of key leaders to executive roles.

EDCO is a Hopkins, Minn.-based manufacturer of residential and commercial exterior building products.

Jeff Williams has been promoted to the role of vice president of manufacturing and will be responsible for all EDCO manufacturing, which includes facilities located in Hopkins, Minn. and New Carlisle, Ind. Over the past 15 years, Williams led the turnaround of the company’s facility in New Carlisle, which has become a manufacturing center of excellence. His ability to identify process improvements and implement efficiency gains, while empowering and developing his people to constantly strive for improvement, will be critical as EDCO continues to position itself for growth now, and into the future.

“I look forward to leading this dynamic manufacturing organization to capitalize on the tremendous market opportunity in front of us,” said Williams. “With the challenges we currently face in fluctuating raw material costs, we must ensure we are getting the very most out of our manufacturing resources.”

It was also announced that Chris Doucet has been promoted to vice president of sales and marketing. Under Doucet's leadership, EDCO has realized significant sales growth and distribution expansion, increased brand recognition and awareness, as well as developing the long-range product plan, which will help drive sales and distribution increases for many years to come.

“We’ve accomplished a lot over the past two years,” said Doucet. “However, there is still so much more we can do. We’ve barely scratched the surface of what we are capable of and with the team we have in place, I am confident we will achieve everything we set our minds to."

“As our company continues to expand and evolve, it was critical that we recognize and reward these two individuals who have consistently demonstrated the skills needed to develop and execute our growth strategies,” said Eric Lindquist, EDCO’s president and CEO. “Jeff and Chris have been, and will continue to be, instrumental in helping EDCO achieve our long term goals.”
