Tecta America, a national leader in commercial roofing and Top 100 roofing contractor, announced the promotion of Kevin Palmer to president of Tecta America Corp.

Palmer joins Tecta America's corporate team from Schwickert's, a Tecta America Company, headquartered in Mankato, Minn. where he has served as operating unit president since 2016. Before serving as operating unit president, he held various positions within Schwickert's, as well as owning and operating his own construction company. 

"It's been a privilege to be picked for this position," said Palmer. "Tecta has a strong track record of promoting from within, and my career is a testament to that core value. As someone who has grown up in the business and has led one of Tecta's largest operating units for eight years, I firmly believe I will bring a valuable perspective to Tecta's leadership team."

Palmer will begin serving as president starting March 18 and will report to CEO Dave Reginelli.

"Kevin has a vast amount of experience in roofing and construction accumulated over 30-plus years and in multiple operations and markets," said Reginelli. "His experience includes all facets of the roofing business including production, project management, estimating, and sales." 

Reginelli added that Tecta has "grown considerably" over the past few years, both organically and through acquisitions. In 2022, Tecta America reported a total of $1.2 billion in revenue, earning it the top spot in RC's Top 100 list of 2023. 

"Adding Kevin to our leadership team strengthens us in ways which enhance our mission to be the place where the best people in our industry want to work," Reginelli said.

Tecta America Corporation has grown to over 95 locations nationwide and is one of the largest roofing contractors in the United States. Tecta is an approved applicator of all major manufacturers.
