ROSEMONT, Ill. - Schwickert’s Tecta America, the largest operating unit of Tecta America Corp, the national leader in commercial roofing, announced the opening of its new branch location in Lawrence, Kan.

“We are very excited for the opportunity to open a new office location in Lawrence, Kansas. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without the support of our team and their willingness to work hard and travel to work on projects,” said Kevin Palmer, president of Schwickert’s Tecta America.

Schwickert’s Tecta America is headquartered in Mankato, Minn. and has other branch offices located in New Hope, Minn.; Rochester, Minn.; and now in Lawrence, Kan. The new office staff will consist of members of the current team. Scott Gilbertson, a 22-year veteran of Schwickert’s Tecta America, has been named the General Manager of the new Lawrence branch and will report directly to Kevin Palmer. Scott has broad experience in the industry and has led the company’s efforts on many out of town projects and growth opportunities.

“We have been doing work in the Kansas area for a few years now. We have generated sufficient business to be able to support a new office in Lawrence. With Scott leading our new Kansas operation, we will be able to better serve our customers in that part of the country. I am excited to see what opportunities this will bring to the table for Schwickert’s” said Palmer.
