SRS Distribution Acquires Roofers Supply & Service – Petry Roofing Supply Inc.

MCKINNEY, Texas — SRS Distribution has acquired Roofers Supply & Service – Petry Roofing Supply Inc., an independent distributor of residential and commercial roofing products servicing the Greater St. Louis market from its location in Fenton, Mo.

Founded in 1972, Roofers Supply & Service is the third expansion by SRS in St. Louis and highly complementary to SRS’ existing footprint in the region. The branch will immediately expand its current product offering and will continue to be led by Charlie Robertson, majority owner of Roofers Supply & Service, and his entire operations team. Roofers Supply & Service will transition its operating name going forward to Shake & Shingle Supply, which already operates nearby locations in Wentzville, Mo., and O’Fallon, Ill. Robertson will report directly to Troy Baker, SRS’ AVP for the Central region.
