Garlock and REF Create Strategic Partnership
ORLANDO, Fla. — On July 1, Garlock Safety Systems and Roofing Equipment of Florida (REF) entered a partnership to increase the products and services available to professional roofing contractors in Florida.
Under the leadership of Jim Brauner, REF has built a successful business based on service and experience. The new company will be known simply as REF and will have two locations in Orlando and Fort Lauderdale to sell, service and rent a wide variety of equipment. The new resources that Garlock brings to the table ensure continued growth in the Florida market.
Brauner has more than 30 years of experience in the roofing industry and is a certified instructor of NRCA/MRCA Certa Programs. He will remain the general manager of the new company.
