Bradco Supply Company Acquires Quality Roofing Supplies
Bradco Supply Corp., a national distributor of roofing, siding, windows and related building materials, announced that it has acquired Quality Roofing Supplies, Inc., of Schenectady, N.Y. Quality was founded in 1974 by Fred Bogdon, Sr. and has served the Greater Capital (Albany) region of Upstate New York for more than 30 years, supplying contractors and builders with commercial and residential roofing, siding and windows.
Bradco Supply Corp., a national distributor of roofing, siding, windows and related building materials, announced that it has acquired Quality Roofing Supplies, Inc., of Schenectady, N.Y. Quality was founded in 1974 by Fred Bogdon, Sr. and has served the Greater Capital (Albany) region of Upstate New York for more than 30 years, supplying contractors and builders with commercial and residential roofing, siding and windows. In addition, Quality operates a metal fabricating operation and a door and window facility at its Van Guysling Avenue location.
“We believe that this is an excellent opportunity for both Bradco and Quality, one that brings together two trusted names with a similar history, philosophy and dedication to bringing their customers quality building materials and customer service that is second to none,” said Martin Segal, Vice President of Acquisitions for Bradco Supply. “This acquisition will enable Bradco to strengthen its presence in the area and expand its product offering and services to the Upper New York region.”
The Quality facility will continue to be managed by Fred Bogdon, Jr. and Lori Bogdon Appel.
Bradco was founded in 1966 and has grown over the years to become one of the nation’s leading distributors of exterior building products. The company currently operates over 130 locations throughout 30 states, including New York offices in Albany, Rochester and Syracuse.
