The AccuTrac tool from OMG is an ergonomically designed “stand-up” tool for installing insulation fasteners and plates in low slope roofing applications. The tool provides jobsite mechanics with a healthier installation alternative to the typical installation technique of bending or kneeling to install each fastener and plate. The AccuTrac tool also properly positions the AccuTrac insulation plate and drives the fastener for maximum engagement and pullout performance. By setting the plate and the fastener in one motion, AccuTrac also does the job of two people, allowing for greater productivity. OMG has upgraded the AccuTrac tool with a variety of features for improved rooftop performance, including: an improved feed mechanism on the tube assembly; a universal drive shaft that can be used with both Phillips or hex-head fasteners; quick release linkage for removing the handle from the base; pull pin for removing the feed tube from the body and an easy-to-remove drive shaft.
