Thirteen employees at Hart & Cooley’s Commercial Products Group (CPG) manufacturing complex were recently awarded certificates for successful completion of training in welding.

BENSENVILLE, Ill. - Thirteen employees at Hart & Cooley’s Commercial Products Group (CPG) manufacturing complex were recently awarded certificates for successful completion of training in welding.

The training programs were conducted over three months in CPG’s Bensenville plant by a former president of the American Welding Society (AWS) as part of a grant program through the College of DuPage. The hands-on training began with theories and reading of weld symbols on drawings, and then on through safe MIG and TIG welding of the various metals used by CPG, such as galvanized steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
