INDIANAPOLIS - Firestone Building Products Co. announced two executive promotions to its senior management team. Former vice president of sales and marketing Bob Delaney was named chief operating officer, reporting directly to Mike Gorey, the company’s president. Delaney joined the company in 1994 and has worked in the roofing industry for 23 years.

Former vice president of sales and marketing Bob Delaney was named chief operating officer, reporting directly to Mike Gorey, the company’s president. Delaney joined the company in 1994 and has worked in the roofing industry for 23 years.

“Over the past 12 years, Bob has helped lead the company through a tremendous growth period, while providing our customers with exceptional sales and marketing support throughout our worldwide industries,” said Gorey. “In his new role as COO, Bob will be positioned to set and implement the strategies necessary to continue growing our business, both domestically and internationally.”

Tom Walker is the new vice president of sales and marketing. He will retain his current management responsibilities as director of metal roofing with Firestone Metal Products.
