KANSAS CITY, Mo. — BluSky Restoration Contractors LLC announced the promotions of four employees who will now serve as vice presidents in their respective areas.

“We’re always thrilled when we have the opportunity to promote leaders from within the BluSky ranks,” said Jeff Thornsbury, the firm’s chief human resources officer.

Steve Lindstrom

Lindstrom joined BluSky in 2019 as a project director in the firm’s Atlanta office. He has been actively working in the construction and renovation industry for nearly 20 years. He also has extensive sales and sales management experience and has won several company awards for consistently exceeding goals. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University and holds several certifications specific to the restoration industry, including IICRC Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician, Water Restoration Technician, and Certified Healthcare Restoration Technician.

Lindstrom will lead his teams in operations, business development, customer relationships, and project management. He reports to Kelley Brown, regional vice president of the firm’s southeast region, which oversees offices in North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, and Florida.

Cory Hendrickson

Hendrickson began his career in the restoration industry in 2014 and joined the BluSky Kansas City office in 2018 as a project director. He holds multiple certifications that are specific to the restoration industry, including HAAG (roofing inspection), WRT (water damage restoration), ASD (structural drying), CDS (commercial drying), AMRT (microbial remediation), CHRT (healthcare restoration), FSRT (fire and smoke restoration), and OCT (odor control).BluSky-Hendrickson

“Cory has been a strong contributor to the success of his office, and his wealth of experience made him the ideal person to lead the Kansas City team," Thornsbury said.

Hendrickson will lead his teams in operations, business development, customer relationships, and project management. He reports to Travis Vogt, regional vice president of BluSky’s Midwest region, which oversees offices in Missouri and Illinois.

Hillary Serwatka

Serwatka joined BluSky’s Charlotte office in 2020 as a project estimator. She began her career nearly 25 years ago as an insurance adjuster before transitioning to the contracting and restoration side of the industry in 2011. She brings extensive experience in residential and commercial insurance restoration including project management and estimating. Aaron Woods

Woods began his career in the construction industry more than 10 years ago and entered the restoration industry five years ago. He joined BluSky in 2020 as a national project manager. His career highlights include assisting in the management of large loss hurricane reconstruction and multi-state project management and coordination.

He holds multiple certifications that are specific to the restoration industry, including all-lines adjuster licenses, CHRT (Certified Healthcare Restoration Technician), OSHA, and project management certificates.

Woods will lead his teams in operations, business development, customer relationships, and project management. He reports to Chris Popwell, regional vice president of the firm’s midsouth region, which oversees offices in Texas, Tennessee and Arkansas.
