EcoStar Introduces Majestic Slate Tile™
EcoStar, Vernon Hills, Ill., introduces Majestic Slate Tile™, designed to emulate the look and feel of natural slate. It is a quarter of the weight of natural slate, and is produced using some of today’s strongest, most flexible materials: rubber (EPDM) and plastic (TPO). The tile is injection molded using a special formula that protects the integrity of the rubber. Majestic Slate offers long life (a 50-year warranty available), strength (Class 4 Impact Resistance), resistance to the elements (no freeze-thaw problems) and flexibility (100-mph wind warranty available). With color to the core, the tiles have colorfast properties that will age timelessly.
