WEATHER GUARD Launches 3D Van Upfit Configurator
Online tool helps contractors plan storage systems and equipment layouts based on their specific work vans
WEATHER GUARD has launched an online 3D configurator designed to help contractors and fleet operators plan work van upfits and select compatible storage products.
The WEATHER GUARD Van Configurator allows users to select a vehicle s make, model, roof height and wheelbase and build an upfit using compatible shelving, storage and other equipment.
Products can be positioned within a 3D representation of the vehicle, allowing contractors to visualize the layout before ordering. The tool also provides pricing information and identifies required installation hardware.
Users can save configurations, duplicate designs for additional vehicles and generate specifications for quotes and ordering.
For roofing contractors, the configurator can help plan service and production vehicles around tool and equipment storage while providing a way to standardize layouts across growing fleets.
WEATHER GUARD said trade-specific configurations are also available as starting points for users who do not want to design an upfit from scratch. The company plans to add truck configurations to the platform in the first half of 2027.
