Adam Quenneville Roofing & Siding is partnering with GAF on a community initiative aimed at providing a free roof replacement to one teacher in New England.

Nominations opened May 11 and will remain open through May 29. 

"Teachers show up every single day for our kids and our communities," said Adam Quenneville, owner of Adam Quenneville Roofing & Siding. "They do it without asking for recognition and usually without enough support. This giveaway is our way of showing up for them. One educator is going to get a roof they don't have to worry about anymore, and we think that matters."

Who is eligible? 

• Eligible nominees include current K-12 teachers, school counselors, special education specialists, paraprofessionals, school librarians and other academic staff at accredited public or private schools within the company’s service area.
• Nominees also must own a single-family home in the service area with a roof at least 15 years old or in need of significant repair or replacement.

Public voting is scheduled to run from June 8-26, with the winner expected to be announced June 29, according to the company.

The prize is a complete roof replacement installed by Adam Quenneville Roofing & Siding using GAF materials and including a GAF Golden Pledge Warranty. 

Nominations can be submitted through the company’s website, and self-nominations are allowed. Each entry must include nominee’s full name, contact information and a short explanation about who the teacher is and why they deserve to be recognized. 

According to the company, a panel of representatives will review eligible entries based on quality and merit. 

Finalists may be featured on its social media channels for community voting.

The giveaway is being run through the company’s AQ Cares community program and follows a previous first responder roof giveaway initiative.
