Everlight Solar Approved for NCCER Training
Solar installer expands workforce education

Madison, Wis.-based Everlight Solar, a residential solar installation and exterior home improvement company, has been approved to offer training courses from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), the company announced.
The approval allows Everlight Solar to provide NCCER curriculum and credentialing opportunities to employees through its internal training programs.
NCCER is a nonprofit organization that develops standardized construction education and certification programs used across the construction industry.
Everlight Solar said courses are already underway and include supplemental instruction such as code review, field trips, hands-on projects and field-based examples.
“Everlight University stringently follows the curriculum of NCCER and Pearson, but also incorporates supplemental learning such as weekly code questions, field trips, hands-on projects, and real-life examples from professors’ experience in the trades,” Brodie Idler, team lead electrician, said in a statement.
The company said the partnership is intended to support workforce development and strengthen technical training for employees working in solar and exterior home improvement services.
Everlight Solar operates in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Idaho, Nebraska, Iowa, Oregon, Utah and Wyoming.
