Service project produced activity bags for children and hygiene kits for parents as part of the company’s ongoing community initiative.

Storm Guard volunteers assembled 200 care packages for families visiting the Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
Storm Guard, a national exterior restoration and construction company, organized a volunteer service project benefiting Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas. The effort took place during the company’s annual conference and involved approximately 125 employees and franchise representatives.
Participants assembled 200 care packages for families visiting the hospital’s emergency department, including 150 activity “busy bags” for pediatric patients and 50 hygiene kits for parents facing unplanned overnight stays. The busy bags were divided by age group, with items such as toys, games, coloring books, and activity materials intended to help reduce stress during hospital visits. Each bag also included a handwritten note of encouragement.
Hospital staff reported positive feedback from patients and families, noting the items were immediately useful. The initiative is part of the company’s ongoing community outreach program, which supports local organizations through volunteer projects.
Storm Guard plans to continue similar efforts in 2026, including quarterly service projects in the Fort Worth area and expanded participation across its franchise network.
