The International Roofing Expo is back in Las Vegas for back-to-back years from Jan. 20-22, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, West Hall.
North America's largest roofing and exteriors event will showcase the latest products and innovations in both residential and commercial sectors, becoming the ideal place for roofing contractors, executives, builders, vendors and industry professionals to build their respective businesses.
There’s also a full schedule of special events and initiatives underway for the roofing community to take advantage of and experience, starting with the general session address at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 20. The timeslot is typically used for a keynote address by a notable speaker on a specific, pre-planned topic. This year will be different.
Breaking with the annual custom of hosting a speaker for a traditional keynote address, organizers of the 2026 International Roofing Expo opted for a different approach.
Industry leaders, including RC and its research partners, will instead provide a conversational breakdown of the most recent survey data used to build the annual State of the Industry Report. The event will kick off IRE 2026 activities and lead right up to the opening of the show floor at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Trent Cotney, partner with Adams & Reese, and National Roofing Contractors Association CEO McKay Daniels will join Mitch Henderson, of myCLEARopinion Insights Hub, to provide exclusive insights into the latest trends highlighted by the survey responses. RC Publisher Jill Bloom and RC Editor-in-Chief Art Aisner co-moderate and ask provocative questions that encourage the panel to share real-world experiences and anecdotes from roofing contractors they’re working with around the country.
Frequent IRE attendees are used to seeing RC’s delivery of the State of the Industry Report as a seminar session. But organizers this year wanted to elevate the presentation to the industry’s biggest stage and provide roofing contractors with information that not only enlightens but also offers solid solutions to stay ahead of the competition in 2026.
The topics include:
- Roofing’s multi-billion-dollar market projections
- Technology advancements reshaping our industry
- Workforce strategies that work
- Insurance standards and regulatory updates
- Shifts in customer expectations and creating new profit opportunities.
“Our panel will do a deep dive into the compelling data points that reveal exciting opportunities and provide strategic understanding of industry projections for residential and commercial roofing through 2026 and beyond,” an IRE news release stated. “Beyond our engaging presentation of survey results, [roofers] will gain invaluable first-hand insights from leading industry experts who will share their perspectives on market performance and highlight the most promising opportunities to watch as we enter this new and dynamic era in the roofing industry.”
Space will be limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
