Best of Success 2025
Who are Roofing Contractor’s 2025 Commercial, Residential Contractors of the Year
Infinity Exteriors and BEST Contracting Services, Inc., earn RC’s highest annual honor for stellar work and cultivating winning company cultures.

ARLINGTON, TEXAS – Roofing Contractor closed the opening day of the 2025 Best of Success conference by honoring two roofing companies with the annual Contractor of the Year award.
BEST Contracting Services, Inc., of Gardena, Calif., received the 2025 Commercial Contractor of the Year on stage at the LIVE! By Loews resort on the outskirts of Dallas. Josh Sparks and the Infinity Exteriors team followed them on stage to receive the 2025 Residential Contractor of the Year honor. Both companies stood out among the dozens that entered the submission process earlier this year, said RC Editor-in-Chief Art Aisner.
“Our goal is to not only highlight he commercial and residential roofers crushing it with their customers and vendor partners, but also elevating the employee experience in-house at the same time,” he said.
BEST Contracting is an award-winning commercial and specialty contractor that covers the entire building envelope, but specializes in roofing and waterproofing. Founded in 1982 by Moji Taba, the company has grown to more than 600 employees during the summer months and expanded services well beyond roofing. Signature projects range from stadiums, schools and performing arts centers, to prisons and industrial facilities nationwide.
Already well-known for its work on L.A.’s Staples Center and SoFi Stadium, BEST reported growing total revenue by more than 37% since 2020, finishing at $29 million in 2024, up 17% from the prior year.
“This is truly an honor," said Owner Sean Taba upon receiving the award. "We were happy just to be nominated, but to be up here and actually win this award is something we're not going to forget."
Taba credited his staff for the award, but gave a special shout-out to Alona Bowman, the company's chief cultural officer, saying, "Without her, we wouldn't be here."
“We are proud of our ability to adapt, innovate, and lead in the commercial roofing industry,” Taba said in a written statement. “Winning the Contractor of the Year Award is a fitting acknowledgment of our team's hard work, commitment, and outstanding achievements over the past five years.”
Infinity’s founder Josh Sparks has a passion for roofing that began straight out of high school, when he traded his McDonald’s job to work with a friend at a local roofing company. Starting with cleanup duties, he quickly advanced to an installer and foreman by summer’s end. During college, he handed out flyers for side jobs to earn tuition money — and Infinity Exteriors was born.
After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and gaining leadership experience, Sparks returned to his hometown of Milwaukee, focused on growing the business. He has since transitioned from running day-to-day at Infinity Exteriors to leading Infinity Home Services, one of the fastest-growing roofing platforms in the market.
“My wife and I started this business a long time ago, but three years ago, I put this team right here in charge of running the organization, and it is 60%, 70% bigger,” Sparks said. “We focus on great culture, with good people, great leadership, and they've taken it and ran with it. So they deserve all the credit."
“We come to work every day with the intention to learn every day, be better for each other, and there's also 90 other people in cold Wisconsin right now that really built us,” added Mike Saglin, brand president, Infinity Exteriors.
