Stronghouse has acquired Gustafson Roofing, a third-generation family business established in 1948 and based in Boynton Beach, Fla., strengthening the company's presence in the state's competitive roofing market.
The acquisition brings decades of expertise under the leadership of CEO Frank Mercado alongside Ryan Gustafson and Mike Gustafson, Jr., who have built a strong reputation for superior roofing and exterior services throughout Palm Beach County. The company's 75-year legacy has generated substantial referral business across South Florida.
"We identified Gustafson as an operator uniquely positioned to expand its footprint both within its existing markets as well as into new markets," said Troy Baker, chief revenue and operating officer of Stronghouse. The platform will provide capital investment, technology innovation, and operational support to drive growth.
Stronghouse already operates in Florida through Linear Roofing and Infinity Roofing & Siding, part of the company's storm response division. The Gustafson acquisition adds to the company's portfolio of seven brands as it continues aggressive expansion across attractive markets.
"Stronghouse went to great lengths to understand our business and develop a forward-thinking plan for sustainable expansion," said Mercado, noting the shared vision for quality and growth.
The O2 Investment Partners-backed platform continues seeking premier exterior service operators for its growing network.
