Godfrey to accelerate multi-regional growth, enhancing RAFTRx’s mission

RAFTR Roofing + Exteriors, an Atlanta-based platform provider of roofing and outdoor exterior solutions specializing in the insurance-claim sector, announced the appointment of George Godfrey as chief executive officer.

Godfrey has over two decades of executive leadership experience, including several years in the home services industry, according to a RAFTRx news release.

Most recently, he served as the CEO of Midwest Remediation from 2023 to 2025. Previously, he served as the CEO of Super Home Services. His strategic leadership and proven record of operational growth make him the ideal person to guide the company through its next phase of growth.

Under Godfrey’s leadership, RAFTRx will continue to implement its long-term growth strategy, delivering local roofing services on a national scale.

The company recently expanded its footprint with the acquisition of Missouri-based Kingdom Krafters and continues to fuel growth by incorporating reputable, strategically positioned roofing and exterior companies.

“The roofing industry, particularly in the residential sector, is undergoing a major transformation driven by an unprecedented surge in private equity investment,” Godfrey stated.

Godfrey graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in engineering. He also earned an M.B.A. from Columbus State University in 1994.
