Werner Marks 9 Years of Sponsoring National Ladder Safety Month
Annual campaign raises national awareness to the importance of ladder safety on the worksite; Werner provides valuable training support, resources and tools
Werner is partnering with the American Ladder Institute for Ladder Safety Month this March to promote injury prevention through training and awareness.

Werner announced that the company will partner again with the American Ladder Institute for Ladder Safety Month, a nationwide initiative dedicated solely to promoting ladder safety at home and in the workplace.
The annual event occurs every March to raise awareness about ladder safety and to help reduce injuries and fatalities resulting from improper ladder use.
Ladder related injuries are far too common and often preventable through ongoing training and consistent safety precautions for those working at height. Consistent training and safety protocols can decrease these injuries and fatalities.
“Ladder safety is an important component of creating a culture of safety,” said Eric Blankinship, senior product manager for Werner.
“For almost a decade, we’ve partnered with ALI for National Ladder Safety Month, but our commitment doesn’t end in March," he added. "We offer a variety of online and onsite training to promote ladder safety throughout the year.”
Safety Themed Webinars Every Week in March
The weekly safety themes that will be available throughout March include:
- Week One: Training and Awareness
- Week Two: Inspection and Maintenance
- Week Three: Stabilization, Setup, and Accessories
- Week Four: Safe Climbing and Positioning
Blankinship will host an online webinar at 12 p.m. on March 17 (CDT), focused on ladder setup and pro tips.
