Richey Nelson, a third-generation roofer, co-founded Roofr to connect homeowners with roofers. Facing a shortage of roofers, his company started offering a free aerial imagery measurement tool to attract contractors, which evolved into a comprehensive sales software platform covering various aspects of the roofing business.

Roofr, a roofing technology company, raised $23.5 million in funding led by Vertical Venture Partners, with participation from ABC Supply Co. and other investors.  

The latest funding round will help Roofr build a robust end-to-end experience for roofers globally by providing professionals with a simple way to manage their projects.
