The purchase of S&H Materials Corp. on New York’s Long Island is Beacon’s seventh acquisition this calendar year.

Building Products of Canada complements CertainTeed Canada’s existing operations by offering roofing materials like residential shingles and wood fiber insulation panels. The acquisition, first announced in June, was valued at nearly $1 billion.

The merged companies will continue as BluSky Restoration Contractors, operating 62 offices in 26 states from coast to coast.
