David Weekley Homes named SRS Distribution one of its National Preferred Partners for the third consecutive year; the award recognizes companies consistently operating at world-class quality and customer service levels.

The Garland Company, Inc. has awarded its 2023 Garland Scholarship to Lily Hebert, the daughter of Garland employee-owner Jay Hebert. Hebert will attend Fordham University in New York City to study biology and pre-med. The scholarship amount was $12,800.

A roofing crew accidentally ignited a fire at a Milford, Mass., home on Monday. The fire caused extensive damage to the roof; the homeowner's son was taken to the hospital as a precaution but was expected to be released soon.

SRS Distribution announced it would acquire Nevada-based Washoe Building Supply Inc., a residential and commercial roofing product distributor founded in 1981.

Nakoma Products, a provider of consumer-packaged goods, has licensed the intellectual property of No Bull-brand ladder bumpers. The company says the move will strengthen its commitment to providing high-quality and reliable solutions to its customers.
