Beacon Building Products has opened new locations in Salinas, Calif., Frederick, Colo., and Seguin, Texas that will serve residential and commercial contractors and lumberyards.

The new Salinas branch is in Monterey County, famous for scenic features like the Carmel-by-the-Sea and Big Sur.

“Focused on serving residential contractors, the team at this location operates as part of the San Jose Beacon OTC network to help customers build their businesses with on-time delivery of our full catalog of products,” said Nevin Holly, Beacon’s regional vice president, Pacific.

The new branch in Frederick is part of the quickly developing Front Range Urban Corridor, which encompasses 18 counties in Colorado and Wyoming.

“With an ideal location along Interstate 25, this branch sits just between Denver and Fort Collins and will serve contractors with our full product range as well as digital tools, like Beacon PRO+, that help busy contractors grow their businesses,” said Justin Hinze, Beacon’s regional vice president, Mountain.

Meanwhile, the new Seguin branch, located about 35 miles northeast of San Antonito, is dedicated to serving lumberyard customers.

“Right off Interstate 10, this location’s greater San Antonio proximity will serve the busy region with our customized product range, delivery optimization, and specialized employees that makes us the go-to supplier for area lumberyards,” said Beacon Vice President Clint Wade.

Beacon has opened 19 greenfields and completed eight acquisitions to date in 2023. The company states in a news release that footprint expansion "is an important element of our Ambition 2025 plan" to drive above-market growth.
