Beacon, the distribution giant, is on a tear in 2023 after announcing on June 30 that it had opened four new locations, two in Texas, one in Florida and one in Tennessee. With the latest branch openings, the company has nearly achieved its 2023 projection of 15 openings in just half a year.

Florida

Tennessee

Beacon’s new Tennessee branch is between Nashville and Memphis on Interstate 40 in Jackson, Tenn. “This city is on a growth path, and we are pleased to serve the residential and commercial contractors who are building in the market,” noted Brian Gibson, Beacon’s Regional Vice President, South Atlantic. “Our product range and digital tools, like Beacon PRO+, will help make us the supplier of choice.”

Texas

The company said its new Killeen, Texas branch is strategically located to serve Fort Cavazos, formerly Fort Hood, and the surrounding community.

“Our team has a long history of serving the government and military bases with the products and specialized services they require,” said Peter Lippert, Beacon’s Texas regional vice president. “We are proud to add this location and support the U.S. Army and its contractors.”

The company anticipated at least 15 new branches by the end of the year as part of its Ambition 2025 goals. In the statement, the company said, “…driving above-market growth via footprint expansion is an important pillar of the plan, and we continue to progress as committed.” Beacon has also completed four acquisitions this year.
