ABC Supply Co., Inc., the bellwether North American distributor of roofing building products, announced in an October 11 news release that 15 leaders have been promoted to branch manager positions at locations throughout the company during the second quarter of 2023. 

Congratulations to the following individuals:

Ben Willard | Springdale, Ark.

Willard was named branch manager of the Springdale, Ark., location; he started his career at ABC Supply in 2010 with nearly a decade of prior industry experience. 

Brian Heinonen | Fond du Lac, Wis.

Heinonen was promoted to manager of the Fond du Lac, Wis., location and came to ABC Supply in 2014 as an outside salesperson, earning several Service Excellence Awards. Heinonen is a 2022 graduate of ABC’s Branch Management Training Program.

James Weeks | Florence, S.C.

Weeks was named branch manager of the Florence, S.C., location and joined ABC Supply in 2020 as delivery services manager at the Holland, Mich., branch; he earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Phoenix.

Jesse Pickerill | Naples, Fla.

Pickerill was named manager of the Naples, Fla., location; he began his career with ABC Supply in 2015 as a delivery driver at the Wichita, Kan., location on East 1st Street North. Following the Wichita position, he was named branch manager of a greenfield location in Junction City, Kan., and earned managing partner status.A United States Marine Corps veteran, Pickerill earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina.

John Tripp | Kansas City, Mo.

Tripp was named branch manager of the Kansas City, Missouri, location on Vernon Street. He joined ABC Supply in 2020 in an inside sales position at the Kansas City, Kan., branch before becoming the assistant manager at the same location later that year. Tripp graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in sociology.

Josh Martin | Hudson, Fla.

Martin was named branch manager of the Hudson, Fla., location on US Highway 19. He started his career with ABC Supply in 2020 as an inside sales associate at the Springfield, Va., location before his promotion and relocation to the Hudson location. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Chowan University in Murfreesboro, N.C. 

Kenneth Hendricks | Mechanicsburg, Penn.

Kenneth Hendricks was promoted to manager of the Mechanicsburg, Penn. location. He has been with ABC Supply since 2015, when he started in a warehouse role at the Roscoe, Ill., branch. Hendricks then served as inside sales associate and delivery services manager at the West Milwaukee, Wis., location and as assistant manager of the Fort Myers, Fla., location. He double-majored in business management and marketing at Concordia University in Mequon, Wis.

Mario Barone | Worcester, Mass.

Barone was promoted to branch manager of the Worcester, Mass., location at 2 Sherman Street. Barone has more than a dozen years of experience with ABC Supply, serving from 2011-23 as a delivery services manager at the Pawtucket, R.I., location. He also completed the BMT program in 2018.

Matt Niswander | Sacramento, Calif.

Niswander was named the manager of the Sacramento, Calif. location. He started his career at ABC Supply in 2015 as an inside sales associate at the Addison, Ill., location, quickly ascending to the delivery services manager role. He graduated from the BMT program and was promoted to branch manager at the Cicero, Ill., location in 2018, where he earned managing partner status.

Michael Pirrami | Denver, Colo.

Pirrami was promoted to branch manager of the Denver, Colo., location on Kearney Street. He joined ABC Supply in 2011 at another Denver location as an outside salesperson before joining his current branch in 2014. Pirrami became the manager at the Colorado Springs location in 2021 and then at the Longmont, Colo., location in 2022 before returning to Denver for his new role.

Mike Nolden | Omaha, Neb.

Nolden was named branch manager of the Omaha, Neb., location on Grace Street. Before this promotion, he began inside sales with ABC Supply in 2021 in Madison, Wis. He also owned a roofing company in Waunakee, Wis., for over a decade before joining ABC Supply.

Rick Miller | Abingdon, Va.

Miller was promoted to branch manager of the Abingdon, Va., location and joined ABC Supply in 2014, bringing nearly two decades of industry experience to the company. During his tenure at ABC, he has held delivery services manager and branch manager roles at two ABC Supply locations in California: Burlingame and Oakland. 

Saintclair Mitchell Jr | Burlingame, Calif.

Mitchell Jr. was named branch manager of the Burlingame, Calif., location; he joined ABC in 2015 as an inside salesman at the Benwood, W. Va., location. He was later promoted to branch manager at the Miamisburg, Ohio, location before holding the same title at the Hayward, Calif., branch. 

Taylor Bagley | Gardena, Calif.

Bagley was promoted to branch manager of the Gardena, Calif., location on 182nd Street. Bagley joined ABC Supply in 2022 in an outside sales role at the same location before being named branch manager this year.

Troy Willey | Ukiah, Calif.

Troy Willey was named branch manager of the Ukiah, Calif., location. He came to ABC Supply in 2018 as an inside sales associate at the greenfield location in Ukiah after working in the construction industry for more than 40 years within the Ukiah Valley community.
