Your Mettle Can Medal at METALCON 2023
The global trade event announces a call for nominees to compete in its ‘Top Products’ awards; nominations accepted through the end of June.
METALCON, the global event for all things metal construction and design-related, kicks off its friendly competition, inviting exhibitors to nominate in various categories for its ‘Top Products’ awards.

METALCON, the only global event for metal construction and design products, technologies and solutions, announced the launch of its Top Product Awards competition and awards ceremony for 2023.
METALCON exhibitors, which takes place this year Oct. 18-20 in Las Vegas, have been invited to nominate their top metal products in one of 15 categories, according to a news release. Eligibility for consideration, producers said, means a product must have been introduced to the market after January 1, 2022, and the manufacturer must be a 2023 METALCON exhibiting company.

- Roofs
- Structures
- Paint & Coatings
- Windows & Doors
- Accessories
- Lighting
- Technology
- Insulation & Weather Barriers
- DayLighting
- Contractor Tools & Equipment
- Safety
- Alternative Energy
- Rollforming Equipment
- Other

Producers said that once eligibility requirements have been met, the nominees will compete in a public vote through an online forum. Attendees may vote once but are eligible to vote for multiple products in different categories.
Up to 15 winners will be announced on September 6; winners are invited to showcase their top products “…with special recognition” at their booths during METALCON in Las Vegas.
METALCON ‘People’s Choice’ Awards
“The people” must have a voice, too, and producers said attendees will be heard. Show attendees will be invited to vote at the Las Vegas convention for their three favorite Top Product Award-winning products via a show app.
Producers said special recognition for the METALCON People’s Choice winners would happen live on the show floor.
“We know most METALCON attendees want to see what’s new and exciting, and the Top Product Awards are a great way to showcase the industry’s top products and technologies while recognizing the most innovative exhibitors,” said Judy Geller, METALCON’s show director.
METALCON will take place this fall at the Las Vegas Convention Center from Wednesday, October 18, through Friday, October 20, with pre-show workshops beginning Tuesday, October 17. Registration is open now.
