Gaco, a brand leader in roof coatings, waterproofing, and insulating products, has kicked off a new loyalty rewards scheme, Top Contractor,” and named its inaugural recipients for 2023.

In a news release, the company, a division of Holcim Building Envelope, announced its top 20 contractor clients who participate in Gaco’s Contractor Recognition Program, naming the inaugural recipients who enjoyed an all-expense-paid trip to sunny Scottsdale, Ariz. 

The program “…recognizes and celebrates these contractors’ commitment to quality and excellence, as well as the expertise they bring to the commercial roofing and waterproofing industry,” the statement read, in part.

Samir Jain, senior vice president of Holcim’s Adhesives Coatings and Sealants business unit, described the program winners as concerns that demonstrate “…an unwavering commitment to excellence and a wealth of expertise in the commercial roofing and waterproofing industry,” he said.

“These firms embody the founding values of Gaco that continue to this day: quality, dependability, innovation, and a spirit of service for our customers,” Jain added. “We look forward to growing these partnerships to provide superior roofing and waterproofing solutions in 2023 and beyond.”

All Gaco-licensed applicators are eligible for the program. Qualification is based on program requirements, including the total volume of Gaco products purchased or installed in 2022 and remaining in warranty “good standing.”

Gaco hailed the success of this year’s trip and says it plans to take next year’s winners to a “unique resort location.” The threshold for program entry includes purchasing a minimum of $100,000 in qualifying products during the promotion purchase period. 

For 2024, the promotion purchase period runs through the end of this calendar year. Contractors must provide proof of purchase from a Gaco distributor, and the deadline to submit is December 31, 2023.
