ATAS International Names ‘Sales Pros’ for 2022
Metal products manufacturer gives nod to three top sales members with Malan S. Parker Award

ATAS International, Inc., a manufacturer of metal roofing, wall cladding, ceilings, perimeter edge metal, and accessories, has named Jim Luster, CSI, Mike Krahling, CSI, and Jon Loftus as the recipients of the company’s annual Malan S. Parker Award, recognizing the top ATAS sales professionals each year.
In a news release, ATAS said the Sales Professionals of the Year award was renamed for Malan S. “Steve” Parker, an exemplary ATAS product representative in the New England territory, in 2002 after he passed away.
About the 2022 recipients:
Jim Luster, CSI
Luster is the Florida market's product representative, and this is his first time winning. Before moving to Florida last year, he was initially the ATAS product representative for the Carolinas and southern Virginia. Luster has been with ATAS for four and a half years; before that, he worked in sales positions within distribution.
He is certified in metal roof installation by the Metal Construction Association and is a member of the Construction Specifications Institute. Luster received his Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kent State University in Ohio.
Mike Krahling, CSI, CDT
Krahling is the product representative for the Carolinas and southern Virginia as of last year; previously, he was the territory manager for eastern Pennsylvania. Krahling has been with ATAS for 10 years and is a two-time award recipient.
He is a member of the Construction Specifications Institute and has previously served on several CSI boards and committees. Krahling is a CSI Certified Documents Technologist certified in metal roof installation by the MCA. He has worked in the industry for more than 30 years.
Jon Loftus
Loftus is the inside technical salesperson for the Carolinas and southern Virginia territory, assisting both Luster and Krahling in their sales efforts. He joined ATAS more than five years ago. Previously, Loftus served 11 years in the United States Army Reserves and is certified in metal roof installation by the MCA. He attended the Pennsylvania College of Technology for building construction technology.
Luster, Krahling, and Loftus were chosen as this year’s winners for their teamwork in overall sales growth and the observance of corporate goals and objectives. Loftus’ support of Luster, Krahling, and their customers within the region was instrumental to the gains realized in that area.
“ATAS is pleased to recognize the efforts of Jim Luster, Jon Loftus, and Mike Krahling in growing the Carolinas territory in 2022,” Mark Bus, ATAS national sales manager, said. “ATAS [is] fortunate to have Jim, Jon, and Mike on [its] sales team.”
