In a release, the company said Beck would provide leadership for the business unit, including responsibility for marketing, sales, operations and technology, and continuing to lead supply chain, customer service and planning. “As Holcim strives to become the most innovative and sustainable building solutions provider, Kristin will play a critical role ensuring our market leadership and best-in-class customer experience,” said Jamie Gentoso, president of Holcim Building Envelope and global head, Holcim Solutions & Products. “Kristin will also drive innovation and growth in all aspects of our business, as well as a continuous improvement in the reduction of our carbon footprint.”

During her career with Holcim, Beck served as U.S. Cement’s senior vice president of Supply Chain and Distribution and as global chief supply chain officer for Holcim Solutions and Products.

Prior to Holcim, Beck held roles of increasing responsibility in the end-to-end global supply chain, sustainable strategy and business development, commercial, manufacturing, procurement, distribution, logistics, engineering, project management, government affairs/advocacy, environmental, health and safety and security.

Beck sits on the Waterways Council Board, National Waterways Foundation Board, Truckers Against Trafficking Advisory Committee, and she is an active member in multiple industry associations.
