MTL Holdings has hired Steve Glasenapp as the new director of envelope. In this role, Glasenapp will work across MTL’s family of brands — Metal-Era, Hickman Edge Systems, and Citadel Architectural Products — to provide strategic customers with a complete metal package for their building envelope.

Located throughout the United States, the MTL Strategic Accounts team is comprised of experienced industry experts with backgrounds in construction, commercial roofing, and LEED building principles. The team partners with contractors, architects, specifiers, and building owners to assist in the development of code-compliant building envelopes that protect the most crucial component: the building’s occupants. According to MTL Holdings, the MTL Strategic Accounts team provides solutions for availability, metal color alignment, and strategic purchasing of components traditionally received from multiple vendors, channels, and sources.

Glasenapp has over 15 years of experience in sales and sales management in the manufacturing and construction industry, with a focus on high-design functionality and value-added, code compliant products. Personally, Glasenapp serves on the board for Kids Building Wisconsin, whose mission is to bring awareness to careers in the construction industry.
