CLEVELAND — The Garland Company announced that Garland, through its Design-Build Solutions subsidiary (DBS), has earned a publicly procured, competitively solicited contract award from EducationPlus, a cooperative of 59 school districts throughout the St. Louis region, representing about a third of the state’s students. This contract was procured and awarded in November 2022 as part of EducationPlus Roofing Bid #012223.

“Our St. Louis team recognized that EducationPlus members needed a Missouri-based option to streamline construction procurement," said Jordan Trimble, director of strategic operations for Garland. "Coming out of the pandemic, it’s never been more important to ensure that school buildings are watertight and healthy for years to come. We’re thrilled to provide site-specific information through the EducationPlus contract, ensuring that each member gets the most competitive pricing on every job without a time-consuming traditional solicitation process.”

Along with the comprehensive line of building envelope products and systems available from Garland/DBS, the EducationPlus contract includes inspections, design and engineering services, and leak management. Garland’s full-service manufacturing model gives its locally-based Missouri territory managers accountability and ownership through an entire roofing project, partnering with a strong network of trusted contractors for quality installation, and issuing a comprehensive warranty at project completion covering all labor and materials.

“It’s important for our members to have suppliers who are invested in their long-term success,” said Paul Ziegler, executive director, EducationPlus. “Garland’s full-service reps live and work in our area and are true partners to our members, not just through a roofing project, but for years to come.”

EducationPlus members may begin leveraging the contract immediately by contacting Jeremy Cozart, St. Louis territory manager, at jcozart@garlandind.com.
