American Wholesale and Building Suppliers Form Independent Distributor Alliance Corp.
SAVANNAH, Ga. — American Wholesale and Building Suppliers Corporation (BSC) announced the creation of the Independent Distributor Alliance Corporation (IDAC). The creation of IDAC brings together members with over $9 billion in revenue and 1,049 locations across North America.
“We are excited for the opportunities the creation of IDAC will provide our members, as we combine two strong organizations into one company,” said Doug DeWalt, director of BSC. “The strength of the member companies and the combined size of the new organization will provide additional opportunities to share best practices between members, develop and train employees and continue to work closely with key supplier partners.”
Looking ahead, IDAC will focus on education, best practices, and development of member companies, while maintaining strong working relationships with vendor partners.
