DEWALT Adds First-Ever Cordless Ratchets to Portfolio

300DPI_1500px-DW_12V_20V_Ratchets_G1
April 20, 2022

TOWSON, Md. — DEWALT introduced its first-ever cordless ratchets as part of its DEWALT XTREME™ 12V MAX* and ATOMIC COMPACT SERIES™ 20V MAX* lineups.

The compact brushless ratchets allow users to fasten and remove nuts, bolts and more in hard-to-reach work areas. The DEWALT ratchets are each designed with a glass-filled nylon tool housing** that provides resistance to automotive fluids and solvents for use in automotive and other demanding applications. With the introduction of ratchets, users can expand into a new product category amongst DEWALT tools, across both the DEWALT XTREME™ 12V MAX* and ATOMIC COMPACT SERIES™ 20V MAX* lines.

The new XTREME™ 12V MAX* ratchets are available with 1/4-inch (DCF504), 3/8-inch (DCF503) and 3/8-inch Extended Reach (DCF503E) square drive configurations, with the 3/8-inch Extended Reach model delivering 3.9-inch greater neck reach versus the DCF503. Compact and performance packed, the 1/4-inch 12V MAX* XTREME™ Ratchet features a powerful 40 foot-pound max torque brushless motor, while the 3/8-inch Extended Reach ratchets boast a 60 foot-pound max torque brushless motor. Ratchets are the latest addition to the XTREME™ portfolio, which now includes 15 tools.

Engineered for performance and durability, the new ATOMIC COMPACT SERIES™ 20V MAX* ratchets with 1/2-inch (DCF512) and 3/8-inch (DCF513) square drive configurations each provide 70 foot-pounds of max torque. Size meets power through the compact design that helps reach fasteners in tight spaces and areas with minimal access. Ratchets are the newest tools to join the growing line of ATOMIC COMPACT SERIES™ products, which now includes 16 tools.

All models are equipped with an LED light to help provide illumination in dark spaces, a variable speed trigger for user control, as well as a trigger lock to help prevent unintended activation when the tool is not in use. The forward/reverse switch allows users to quickly change direction of application, and each ratchet can be used manually in both directions.

These XTREME™ 12V MAX* and ATOMIC COMPACT SERIES™ 20V MAX* Brushless Ratchets are available now where DEWALT products are sold. To learn more about DEWALT products, please visit www.dewalt.com.
