MCKINNEY, Texas — SRS Distribution Inc. announced that it has acquired Wimsatt Building Materials, a leading distributor of residential and commercial roofing, siding, windows and doors, and other related products with eight locations across Michigan and Ohio. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Wayne, Mich., the company was founded in 1936 by James Wimsatt and his brothers and is currently run by Bob Hoffman and his sons, Rob Hoffman and Charlie Hoffman. Charlie will continue to lead the company’s dedicated team under the Wimsatt banner, ensuring continuity and consistency for customers, suppliers, and employees.
