Owens Corning to Hold Virtual Business Building Day in April

The Owens Corning Virtual Business Building Day brings roofing contractors a one-stop destination to help grow their business, explore new solutions and learn from experts across a range of business disciplines. Presented in real-time and available for download-on-demand, the April 7 Virtual Business Building Day makes it easy for roofing contractors to engage with business experts on topics ranging from marketing and reputation management to transformative technologies and complex human resource challenges.

Combining an afternoon of presentations with a business partner exposition, the Virtual Business Building Day brings the energy of a “live” event to a virtual environment aligned with this socially distanced moment. The 2021 event introduces contractors to new offerings, including Paychex, a resource to help contractors to navigate human resource challenges ranging from retirement planning to OSHA compliance. HOVER, a supplier of aerial imaging technology is another new exhibitor at this year’s event. Contractors can also connect with Owens Corning’s “Business Accelerators” Anna Anderson, Sue Hawkes, and Rodney Webb for coaching and consults.

The agenda includes seven 25-minute workshops focused on driving business performance and profitability. According to Jon Gardner, national training leader, the Virtual Business Building Day is designed to help contractors efficiently access solutions that address their business objectives.
