The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) wants your help in supporting the next generation of roofing and construction workers during its second annual Giving Day.

Held during the NRCA's National Roofing Week, Aug., 23-29, the association is asking for donations of any size to support the Roofing Alliance's Melvin Kruger Endowed Scholarship Program. The donations will fund additional scholarships to college and vocational-technical school students who plan to pursue careers in the roofing or building construction industries.

Employees of NRCA contractor and supplier members and their families are eligible to receive the scholarships. Recipients are given funding for up to four years of full-time study at any accredited post-secondary institution of the student’s choice.

Donations are tax-deductible as a charitable contribution to the extent permitted under federal tax law. For more information, visit the NRCA's website. The Roofing Alliance is the nonprofit foundation of the NRCA.
