As part of the SkillsUSA National Signing Day, the Home Depot Foundation granted $30,000 in scholarships toward six students' trade school tuition.

Home Depot will partner with SkillsUSA for National Signing Day and provide six scholarships in celebration of high school seniors entering the skilled trades industry.

The donations will go toward supporting the roofing industry through various means, such as scholarships, education, charitable programs and research.

A maximum of 10 recipients will each receive a $5,000 award that is renewable for up to three years of undergraduate study if they meet eligibility requirements.

The foundation trustees unanimously agreed to honor a former WSRCA president and foundation chairman of the trustees who passed earlier this year.

Tecta America's 2020 contributions to the John F. Miller Scholarship Program will put the program at over $1 million in awards. 

Students seeking to further their education can earn a $5,000 scholarship from the WSRCA's Davis Memorial Foundation.

Two women who own roofing companies have been selected as the 2020 winners of the National Women in Roofing's NWiR Day and IRE N.E.W.S. (Network of Educating Women Scholarship).
