LAS VEGAS — The 2019 Win the Storm conference is officially underway in Las Vegas — perhaps fittingly a day after uncharacteristic snow moved into the area.

The event is geared to those interested in improving and expanding their respective businesses by exploring the ins and outs of the insurance-restoration market. According to organizers Storm Ventures Group, the event is expected to draw more than 2,500.

This year, Win the Storm features more than 75 industry-specific breakout sessions on topics ranging from ways to increase sales and profits to storm mapping and prediction and drone training.

The event also promises a wind range of presenters. That includes an eight-member attorney panel, a 13-member CEO panel, and a nine-member public adjuster panel.

LC Nussbeck, CEO, MADSKY, is among those set to present on the main stage.

The topic of his presentation set for Friday will be “The Pros and Cons of MRPS…and the Truth.”

"Homeowner's increasing expectations of the insurance carriers to deliver a flawless claims experience continues to accelerate,” Nussbeck said. “Participating in the Win the Storm conference enables our organization to take part in the conversation with other restoration industry leaders."

The Second Annual WTS Awards are set for tonight and will be hosted by Josh Bigger with live performances by DJ Manifesto and the Spazmatics.

A debate is set for Friday between two attorneys — one representing the policy holder and one representing the carrier.

Throughout the entire event that runs through Saturday, various sessions are scheduled.
