PHOENIX — Western States Metal Roofing has introduced an all-new series of paint prints that are designed to look like dark aged metal.

The Blackened Steel Series is new for 2019 and is a collection of five specialty paint prints that include Blackened Copper, Black Ore Matte, Blackened Galvanized, Speckled Blackened Rust, and Streaked Blackened Rust.

Each color will be available in a select variety of metal roof and metal wall panels and will be displayed at the International Roofing Expo, February 11-13 in Nashville, Tennessee.

“Our Blackened Steel Series provides a unique alternative to dark, aged metals,” says Vice President of Western States Metal Roofing, Paul Rubio. “These Kynar/PVDF finishes are perfect for applications that call for a weathered aesthetic without the problems associated with rusting steel.”

Available panel types for Blackened Steel Series paint prints include 7/8” Corrugated, PBR Panel, Western Rib (7.2 Panel), Western Lock Standing Seam, T-Groove Flush Wall/Soffit Panel, Western Wave Rigid Wall Panel, and Western Reveal Panel options.
