SOUDERTON, Pa. — Coatings For Industry has been certified under ISO 9001:2015, which assures customers that the products they use have been formulated to meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Coatings for Industry, Inc. (CFI) has been formulating coatings for industrial, commercial and aerospace applications for nearly 50 years.

“These are the highest standards out there,” said Kevin Klotz, president of CFI. “We worked hard to earn this certification, and will continue to work hard to maintain it, because our customers need to know our products will perform the way they’re supposed to on every application.”

Attaining the ISO 9001:2015 was important for CFI’s anti-corrosion coatings for jet aircraft and power generation turbines to remain compliant in those industries. However, the certification covers all CFI coatings made for all applications.

The ISO 9001:2015 standard is an assurance to customers that a company is committed to maintaining a consistent level of quality. The standard is based on a number of principles, including customer focus, the commitment of top management, process approaches and continuous improvement.

Based in Geneva, Switzerland, ISO is an independent, non-governmental international organization that develops voluntary, consensus-based, market relevant International Standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.
