ADDISON, Texas – Orlando Group Roofing and General Construction of Addison, Texas, is the first company to be accredited to apply the Stormseal storm recovery system in the United States.

Stormseal is a weather-resistant film that protects storm-damaged structures until repairs can be made. The product is a wind-, rain-, and hail-resistant polyethylene film that’s applied with heat to damaged roofs and structures, essentially “shrink-wrapping” them to offer temporary protection until permanent repairs can be made.

Stormseal was created by Australia-based Stormseal Industries Pty Ltd., and is manufactured and distributed in the U.S. by Stormseal USA LLC.

“We are extremely thrilled to bring our product to the people of the United States,” said Stormseal USA CEO Matthew Lennox.

Founded in 1979, Orlando Group provides residential and commercial roofing services in the area between Dallas and Oklahoma City.

“Our goal of growing and improving as a company is to better serve our neighbors in Texas and Oklahoma,” said Doug Hasty, president, Orlando Group. “The addition of Stormseal to Orlando Group’s service offerings is helping to secure our place as the leading choice in the roofing industry.”

Stormseal USA has partnered with Optimum Training and ENSA North America to offer accredited installer training and certification programs in Amarillo, Texas, and Orlando, Fla.
