Denver, Colorado - January 26, 2018 – Exterior Solutions Group, LLC (ESG) announced that it is open for business to serve building owners and facility managers. The company is focused on building relationships with customers, understanding their building envelope needs and goals in order to build the right solution and deliver it in a way that makes the experience enjoyable for the customer.

“We are a people company,” explained Ken Flickinger, founder of ESG. “We provide roofing, waterproofing and maintenance services, but building relationships is really what we are all about. We don’t want to just provide a service, we want to provide an experience that allows us to become a trusted advisor to customers.”

ESG believes success comes through putting people first. “The most important investment we make is in people,” said Flickinger. “We want to build on their character and talent, then provide them with the training, tools and resources to take care of customers so they can be successful.”

Flickinger brings 30 years of roofing industry experience to the company. He began his career in a technical sales role for Sarnafil, Inc. where he progressed into managing the Midwest region. He left Sarnafil to form the company buildingWorks, Inc. and served as president for 12 years. He specialized in identifying building envelope problems and developing solutions. Flickinger also spent time working at BLUEFIN, LLC as executive vice president and chief operating officer. 

In addition to a deep understanding of building science and roofing systems, he also has a thorough understanding of how to manage and run a contracting business from his years as a regional managing president for Tecta America and from his most recent position as executive vice president for J. Reynolds & Company, Inc.
