BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - We are pleased to announce that Activar Construction Products Group (ACPG) has recently acquired the business assets of RoofTop Accessories (RTA) based in Tomball, Texas.  RTA has been providing roof top safety rail systems and components to the construction industry since 1998. 

 

“This decision is the result of many years of a shared vision to provide our distributors with quality roof top components,” said ACPG President, Kirby Bayerle.  “The merger will allow us to combine the strengths of both organizations to better serve our customers.” With two manufacturing facilities, and ten warehouse stocking locations across the US, customers will now be able to receive roof top safety rail systems and components even faster with reduced freight costs.

 

Two of RTA's most popular products have been offered for several years by ACPG - the LP6 Safety Post and Safety Railing Systems.  As rooftop opening protection remains an important topic in the industry, the demand for safety railings purchased in conjunction with roof hatches will continue to grow.

 

New products that ACPG will now be able to offer include the KeyCurb™ Pipe Support and the KeyCurb™ Railing Support systems. These non-penetrating modular systems are designed in customizable configurations that can be selected to fit a variety of requirements, the KeyCurb™ systems are approved by major roofing manufacturers for use with their materials.
