SOPREMA Introduces New Contractor Training Program

WADSWORTH, Ohio — SOPREMA Inc. is proud to offer the Contractor Training Program — a new program designed specifically for contractors that includes a selection of comprehensive courses — to provide contractors with a way to improve general knowledge of roofing and waterproofing systems and offer hands-on practical training.

The courses are taught by SOPREMA technical representatives and include both classroom time and hands-on application instruction. The curriculum is designed to improve the knowledge of varying material installations (not just SOPREMA products), train new employees and help them qualify for SOPREMA’s Authorized Contractor Program.

“SOPREMA’s Contractor Training Program is unique because a large portion of the course is spent actually installing and working with the products,” said program creator, Curt Liscum, technical services manager, SOPREMA. “We believe this is the best way to build a better understanding of the systems, increase on-the-job productivity and reduce callbacks after installation.”

The Contractor Training Program has flexible course offerings that vary during the year and can be held either at the contractor’s location or at one of SOPREMA’s training facilities located in Wadsworth, Ohio; Lakeland, Fla,; Gulfport, Miss.; Newark, N.J.; and Pompano Beach, Fla.
