TUALATIN, Ore. — Columbia Roofing & Sheet Metal has promoted Kristy Moore as branch supervisor at Long Beach Roofing Inc., located at 3265 E. 59^th St. in Long Beach, Calif.  Long Beach Roofing was acquired by Columbia Roofing & Sheet Metal last year.

Moore, who has worked at the 78-year-old roofing company for about two years, will be responsible for a variety of day-to-day roles such as office management, project and crew scheduling, and production duties. She is one of a dozen employees at Long Beach Roofing. 

President Mark Carpenter said he is pleased with Moore’s promotion to the management post.  “We enjoy seeing women excel in our company and in our industry,” he said.  “Kristy fits our corporate culture and our goals in a very positive and professional way.” 

Moore previously worked at North County Rain Gutters in Huntington Beach, Calif. She said she earned the bulk of her industry experience working at her father’s 40-year-old business, All-Pro Fence Company Inc. She received an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Studies at Long Beach City College (LBCC). Moore is a native resident of Long Beach.
