Owens Corning Roofing and Asphalt Presents 2015 Platinum Preferred Contractor Awards
TOLEDO, Ohio — Owens Corning Roofing and Asphalt LLC honored distinguished Owens Corning Roofing Platinum Preferred Contractors from across the country for exceptional market and industry leadership at the 2015 Awards Ceremony held at the Marco Island Marriott in Beach Resort in Florida. The annual event honored industry-leading contributions to the roofing category with awards ranging from industry stewardship, community outreach, sustainable practices and business growth.

The Owens Corning Roofing Platinum Advisory Board reviewed each nomination and selected one outstanding recipient to receive the following top national awards:
Industry Stewardship Award
Deer Park Roofing of Cincinnati was honored for the fourth consecutive year in recognition of its market-leading business initiatives that positively advance the roofing industry. In collaboration with the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), Deer Park Roofing developed the ProForeman program to create and promote career paths for workers within the roofing industry.
Spirit Award
O’LYN Roofing of Boston was recognized for its ongoing positive local community impact. The company has initiated and participated in several community service and fundraising initiatives as well as donating roofing products to benefit local residents.
The 2015 Awards also honored Platinum Preferred Contractors for outstanding achievement across six additional categories. Several winners were eligible for each award, including the Shingle Recycling Tonnage Award for commitment to sustainable practices through shingle recycling volume. The Bright Star Award recognized best overall performance in business growth, market leadership, safety, industry involvement, education, and sales and marketing.
