McKinney, Texas — SRS Distribution has announced that it has launched Commercial Distribution Specialists (CDS), a new dedicated commercial division of distribution locations with a focused brand and identity. Phase I of the CDS roll-out plan includes two inaugural branch locations in Dallas and Houston under the leadership of Ken Greer, a 35-year industry veteran. Eachlocation will carry a full stocking position of leading commercial roofing,waterproofing and building-envelope products with a trained technical insideand outside salesforce.

The Dallas location will be led by Kyle Smith, a 12-year industry veteran with an extensive background in commercial roofing in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Smith has been with Southern Shingles and SRS for his entire career, most recently serving as branch manager of the Southern Shingles Dallas location. The Houston location will be led by Brian Hudson, a 20-year industry veteran, who has served in various roles, including inside and outside sales and branch manager. Both Smith and Hudson will report to Greer, vice president of the new CDS Division.
