ROSEMONT, Ill. — The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) has released its Roof Application Training Programs: valuable resources that give roofing contractors the ability to conduct in-house applicator training.

The DVD-based package provides all the necessary tools for contractors to conduct effective training with their workers, including two DVD programs with two hours of video content, instructors guides, student handouts and exams, and 15-minute modules designed to demonstrate effective training skills for program facilitators.

The Roof Application Training Program Package contains the following comprehensive training programs:

1. Roof Application Training Program: Foundations of Roofing — an effective training program that explains the basics of low- and steep-slope roofing.

2. Roof Application Training Program: Equipment, Setup and Tear-off — a training program that explains roofing equipment and setup and tear-off procedures for low- and steep-slope roofing work.

Both training programs also may be purchased separately. All components of the programs include English and Spanish versions.
