BEACHWOOD, Ohio — Tremco Roofing and Building Maintenance announced that Ed Buczek, coatings market manager for the company, has been appointed to the 2014-2016 Board of Directors for the Roof Coatings Manufacturers Association (RCMA). He is one of 11 board members.

The board provides strategic guidance and direction related to the RCMA’s activities, including but not limited to ensuring the following: that the RCMA is living up to its mission and purpose; its policies are fair to members; organizational planning is effective; financial and staff resources are managed effectively; and the Association’s programs and services are successful.  An active, highly committed board, the members meet in person during the RCMA’s three yearly meetings, and hold numerous teleconferences to keep updated on the Association’s activities and provide strategic direction.

“I’m honored to be named to RCMA’s board of directors,” said Buczek. “I’m looking forward to taking an active role in helping the board make an excellent organization even more visible and productive, grow our membership, and ensure that we meet the needs both of our members and of the industry.”
